Dundee/Aberdeen Emo
Just wondering if there was anyone out there who was living around this area who might be interested in jamming? Looking for anything really. FEMALE SMELL looking for bassist.
Hard to say what we sound like really so best to have a listen. Ex- Diet Pills, Knives, Bee Stung Lips as well as loads more.
We've been playing without bass but think we need a bit more beef.
The demo on the soundcloud is out on cassette soon and we have an ep release lined up as well.
We practice every weekend in Birmingham. Usually just one day.

Initially composed to be played as a live soundtrack (like at Roadburn Festival 2011 for example) on Carl Dreyer's "Vampyr" (silent film from 1932), this long musical piece was finally recorded in february 2012. The result is not a new YEAR OF NO LIGHT album but a long new track (72 minutes) with YEAR OF NO LIGHT classic heavy riffs mixed with more experimental and drone tunes that can remind us their collaborative records with NADJA or THISQUIETARMY. The record is a double vinyl including a CD version of the long track to listen to it in an one-time session.
PRESSING INFOS : 1.000 copies (150 on grey vinyl, 150 on white vinyl and 700 on black vinyl)

When some hardcore veterans of the 2000's (ex members of KIRUNA, OVERMARS and GENEVA) decide to remember the 90's of their youth and to pay tribute to glorious bands like KISS IT GOODBYE, UNSANE or KNUT, the final result is ALABASTER. A perfect mix between punk hardcore and noise rock with just what it needs of metal, tense and nervous as you wish, with direct structures but complicated riffs.

Instruments needed for new LD music project.

I'm setting up a music project in Hackney that will support adults with learning disabilities to form punk/rock bands and book,promote and play their own shows. Beside giving some of the people i work with the chance to learn an instrument and express themselves through music, the aim of the project is to give people a social outlet beyond the often highly restrictive and institutionalised world of LD services. I'm launching an appeal for people to help out and donate old bits of equipment that they have lying around. I will post more info and a flyer here soon, but for now, does anyone here have anything gathering dust that they would be willing to give up? Primarily we need a couple of guitars, a bass, mics,a keyboard and drum breakables, but really any kind of musical equipment could help. If equipment is broken we can fix it up, and even parts of instruments could be useful. I know it's a big ask, but you would be helping provided a potentially life changing opportunity for group of people who love music, and are currently getting fucked over every which way by the powers that be.

I'm part of the Berlin-based experimental noise/blast/mayhem-outfit BATALJ from Sweden and Australia.
We're currently puzzling together the last pieces of a three week UK/Europe tour in June and still got some dates
to fill. It'll be 9 shows in the UK of which two are up for grabs, the 11th and 12th - preferably somewhere inbetween
Nottingham and London but we keep all options open. We'll be 4 people travelling with a full backline, a new 7-inch EP
